While the "Respect" patent is being filed and recognized in various North American countries, Siropack is entering into another significant commercial agreement in North Africa. The Italian company based in Cesenatico, Emilia-Romagna, which produces machines and software for the food and pharmaceutical packaging sector, has officially granted Offset Polyplast, based in Casablanca, an exclusive, multi-year concession to sell machines that apply blotting paper/pads to fruit and vegetable trays in Morocco.

Founded in 1990, Offset Polyplast is active in the plastics industry. The Moroccan company specializes in the extrusion of polypropylene and polystyrene sheets and thermoforming. Offset Polyplast is also a reference in Morocco for producing packaging for the dairy and food industries through injection moulding.
The exclusive agreement was finalized during a meeting at the Siropack Italia headquarters in Cesenatico between Offset Polyplast CEO Mamoun Marrakchi and R&D Director Samira Benhida, and Siropack owners Rocco De Lucia and Barbara Burioli.

These systems can also customize products with handles, labels on the sides or bottom, and laser coding."
"Additionally, an in-line machine applies blotting paper to meat trays and fruit baskets. An offline machine applies blotting paper, cutlery, labels, and laser coding to clamshell containers, lids, and glasses. The offline machine is equipped with a thermal transfer printer that prints directly on labels," the owner concludes.
