The agricultural production cooperative "Yahidky," located in the Kyiv region of Ukraine, is building modern greenhouses to grow raspberries using coconut substrate.
This was reported on Facebook by Anna Lutsko, a berry crop cultivation consultant.
"Construction is in full swing on modern domestic greenhouses where early raspberries will grow on coconut substrate," she wrote.
This is not the first greenhouse raspberry project advised by Anna Lutsko. She previously provided agronomic support to the company "VIAN 2021" in Zakarpattia, considered the most technologically advanced berry farm in Ukraine. The business, launched during the war by entrepreneurs from Zaporizhzhia, cultivates strawberries and raspberries in tunnels, as well as raspberries and blueberries in open fields.
