Caudal will present its PC600 AS Cu Protect pipe, specifically designed for multi-year crops, installations with long laterals, and multi-year underground applications, at Greentech 2025.
This new product is equipped with a high-strength, self-compensating cylindrical dripper and Cut Protect technology, which is based on the direct integration of copper oxide into the dripper material during manufacture, creating a physical and chemical barrier that inhibits root growth and penetration, which, according to Caudal, ensures effective and sustainable long-term protection.
In addition to preventing root intrusion, this technology helps minimize the growth of algae, bacteria, and fungi within the irrigation system, thereby reducing the risks of clogging and lowering maintenance costs.

An effective and environmentally friendly solution for this type of irrigation
This innovative solution has an Anti-Siphon system (AS) that prevents soil particles from being sucked into the dripper, which is essential in long-term underground installations. Its main technical features include 2 and 4 litres per hour flow rates, and high resistance to UV rays and agricultural fertilisers.
It also incorporates a continuous self-cleaning mechanism and a wide flow labyrinth to prevent clogging, ensuring uninterrupted operation. This dripper is suitable for deep underground irrigation (SDI) installations with a service life of more than 15 years, depending on wall thickness.
All these features make it a sustainable and high-yield option for modern agricultural projects.
Caudal will participate in the upcoming GreenTech, the leading international horticultural fair held in Amsterdam from June 10 to 12. The company, which specializes in irrigation solutions, will be in Stand 01.547
