Growers, advisors, and industry professionals from across Europe and beyond are invited to attend the grand finale of the 2025 Strawberry Inspirations project, taking place on June 14 in Hornigi, Poland (near Warka, Mazowieckie Province).
This event, hosted by experienced strawberry growers Mateusz and Magdalena Włodarczyk, offers an opportunity to see how Polish producers are developing modern and profitable strawberry farms using cutting-edge technologies, innovative planting systems, and new strawberry genetics.

The largest collection of strawberry varieties in commercial conditions
At the heart of this year's edition is the special demonstration field – a 1-hectare multi-varietal plot featuring 30 different strawberry varieties sourced from leading nurseries in Poland and abroad.
This is the largest collection of strawberry varieties grown under real commercial production conditions in Europe – and possibly the world.

This is a rare chance to directly compare plant vigor, fruit quality, yield potential, and taste. Visitors will also take part in live taste tests and learn about each variety from growers and nursery representatives.
Field demonstrations and practical workshops
During the event, there will be live workshops on how to establish strawberry plantations using elevated beds. Participants will observe every stage of the process, including soil preparation, bed shaping, laying drip irrigation systems, applying mulch materials (foil or agrofabric), and planting strawberries.
Technical partners Agrimpex and Geo-Polska will also present the latest innovations in biodegradable and durable mulching materials.

Explore new planting materials
A new plot planted in May 2025 will also be on display. It features two types of planting material: multi-crown and tray (potted) plants. This plantation is designed to yield fruit in the same season, allowing visitors to assess plant performance and economic potential.
Expert insights on fertilization and crop protection
Attendees will also gain practical insights into effective fertilization and crop protection strategies. Experts from UPL Polska and Yara Poland will summarize the season and present tailored programs to boost productivity and manage disease pressure in strawberries.
