Australia: Plant Empowerment to hold training workshop in Adelaide

Plant Empowerment will be holding a one-day training event at Apex Greenhouses in South Australia to aid growers in their greenhouse knowledge. Scheduled for Friday, 1 August 2025, this hands-on workshop aligns with the conclusion of the Protected Cropping Australia (PCA) Conference.

The event will take place at Apex Greenhouses in Virginia, South Australia, from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Led by international expert Ton Habraken from Svensson, representing Plant Empowerment, the day will focus on cutting-edge, energy-efficient strategies to elevate crop performance and sustainability in protected cropping systems.

Growers will learn how to optimize screen systems for maximum energy savings, discover techniques for creating an active climate to support plant health, and explore best practices for humidity control in modern greenhouses.

The training is specifically designed for greenhouse growers, managers, and horticultural advisors who are looking to adopt data-driven approaches to improve resource efficiency and crop resilience.

Spaces are limited to just 40 participants, with priority given to current growers and greenhouse operators. If you wish to register for the workshop, you can do so at the link here.
