Arugga AI Farming is expanding its footprint in Europe with the launch of Polly+, the second generation of its autonomous pollination robot. "Our first-generation robot Polly has been deployed in climate-controlled greenhouses in multiple countries around the world", says Eytan Heller, VP of Business Development at Arugga AI Farming. "Our latest model brings a significant technological upgrade, replicating bumblebee pollination. Polly+ is twice as fast as its predecessor, offering faster, more efficient pollination and enhanced data capabilities."

"Polly+ is a big technological leap forward for growers. The deployed robots have consistently demonstrated increased yield versus bumblebees and manual pollination, whilst providing advanced plant data", adds CEO Iddo Geltner.
Thanet Earth
As of May 2025, 65 robots are commercially deployed in greenhouses across the globe. Among the early adopters of Polly+ is Thanet Earth, the UK's largest greenhouse complex, based in East Kent. Ad van den Bosch, Head of Operations at Thanet Earth Tomatoes, commented: "We've been impressed by the performance of Arugga's robots. Their agronomic and tech support teams consistently provide valuable insights that help us optimize pollination and crop quality. We now plan to deploy Polly+ across a larger area as we've seen it's a reliable method of pollination without bees".

Polly+ is also set to expand operations in a greenhouse operated by Food Ventures. Mikel Honders, COO at FoodVentures: "Arugga's robots successfully pollinated tomato flowers under red LED lighting with the screens closed — conditions where bumblebees cannot operate. This enables significant energy savings in winter. Once our new crop is planted, we intend to deploy Polly+ across our full facility."
Eytan Heller, VP of Business Development at Arugga AI Farming: "We remain focused on helping growers boost yields and meet sustainability goals by producing more within the same space. Polly+ supports this mission with precision pollination and real-time, plant-level data from across the greenhouse."
