Fewer Poles, more Bulgarians to work in the Netherlands

In 10 years, the number of Bulgarians in the Netherlands has quadrupled. At the same time, the number of Polish and Romanian migrant workers is decreasing. Why is this and what are the consequences? EenVandaag finds out and spoke to Eric Nabuurs, owner of an employment agency, among others. He observes, "Bulgarians still accept abuses." Nabuurs points to the agricultural sector, among others. So does Minister Eddy van Hijum, who recently took several measures aimed at curbing abuses involving migrant workers in the Netherlands.
