"Four times more goods hit by steel and aluminum import tariffs"

The European Union estimates that the first wave of import tariffs announced by US President Donald Trump on steel and aluminum will hit up to €28 billion of EU exports. The amount of goods on which the import levies would apply is about four times larger than the levies during Trump's previous term, because this time derivatives from steel and aluminum are included. Insiders report this to news agency Bloomberg. BNR shares the ANP news.

Left or right, the recently announced import tariffs will also affect greenhouse and glasshouse construction. Apart from making steel and aluminum more expensive, Trump's plans are also causing unrest, which is bad for the investment climate.
