Good morning from Berlin – or good afternoon, as the newsletter is sent out after lunch German time. The Fruit Logistica is in full swing and we're present to cover the show.
Yesterday, traffic jams caused a slow start but after ten it started to pick up. The difficulty with horticultural suppliers at Fruit Logistica is their potential clients are present at the show, but there are 25 halls, with a top floor and a basement – so how to get these potentials at your booth? Relocating the horticultural hall to 3.1 did improve the accessibility, but still, some exhibitors are discontent with their position.

Party time at Botanicoir! The company celebrates its 20 year anniversary this year - and it for sure has been a ride. Samantha and Kalum Balasuriya celebrated the milestone at the show. More to follow :)

Greenhouse building has seen some slower years, but for the foil greenhouse market it already picked up last year, and glass greenhouse builders are once more optimistic at the beginning of a new year. More on that to follow – but we have some work to do first.
