Paraguayan company partners with University for a sustainable future

In a step toward strengthening leadership in agribusiness of Paraguay, HidroBio and San Carlos University have formalized an inter-institutional cooperation agreement.

The agreement, signed by Prof. Dr. Ronaldo Dietze, Rector of San Carlos University, and Fernando Samaniego, HidroBio Co-Founder and Managing Director, aims to revolutionize the training of future agricultural professionals through practical programs that integrate market trends with agricultural sustainability.

Learning by doing
Thanks to this collaboration, students from San Carlos University will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on professional internships at HidroBio's facilities. These internships will allow them to apply their knowledge in real-world settings while developing key skills in agricultural technology and sustainable production. This practical approach will strengthen their expertise in crucial areas, including hydroponic production and sustainable resource management.

In addition, the agreement includes the joint organization of courses, seminars, and specialized workshops designed to enhance students' professional competencies. These activities will merge HidroBio's technical expertise with the academic focus of San Carlos University, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience.

Creating a sustainable vision for Paraguayan agriculture
The agreement reflects a shared vision between HidroBio and San Carlos University: to promote innovative and responsible agriculture. "This collaboration reinforces HidroBio's commitment to training highly qualified professionals in Paraguay, capable of leading the transformation toward a more competitive and sustainable agricultural sector," says Samanieg.

Prof. Dr. Dietze adds, "We are proud to establish this partnership with HidroBio, a company recognized for its commitment to innovation and sustainability. This alliance will enrich our students' education, equipping them with the tools to make a meaningful impact on the sustainable development of their communities."
