Netherlands ready to invest in greenhouses in Ukraine post-war

The Dutch government and local entrepreneurs are prepared to invest in high-tech greenhouse projects in Ukraine once the war has ended, according to Leonid Chebanov, chief project engineer at Inzhtekhbud, in an interview with the magazine "Horticulture in Ukrainian".

Chebanov noted that during the Greentech exhibition, Dutch representatives expressed their readiness to start projects immediately following Ukraine's victory in the war. He also emphasised that Ukraine already possesses all the necessary resources for constructing greenhouses using domestic materials, including frames, automation systems, irrigation, and other essential components.

According to Chebanov, modern greenhouses offer opportunities for the industrial cultivation of vegetables, berries, melons, grapes, stone fruits, and even medicinal cannabis.
