Greenhouse footprint in Inner Mongolia, China

Inner Mongolia is a key business area for greenhouse builder Kingpeng. The main project types are large multi-span glass greenhouses, with a few solar greenhouses, primarily used for fruit and vegetable cultivation. Below is a brief introduction to these projects:

Kingpeng's Ulanqab Project
The Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, undertaken by Kingpeng, is a comprehensive industrial park integrating agriculture, healthcare, and cultural tourism industries. The project plans to invest 5 billion yuan, covering an area of about 4,000 acres, and aims to build 1 million square meters of smart greenhouses. The project will be carried out in three phases over five years. The first phase of smart greenhouses was successfully laid out in September 2020, and construction began at the beginning of 2021. After nearly a year of intensive construction and preparation, the project was completed within the same year, with fruits harvested in the same year. As of now, the first phase of connected glass greenhouses (267,000 square meters) and the second phase of solar greenhouses (60,000 square meters) have been completed and put into use.

Kingpeng's Chifeng Project
The Chifeng modern agricultural project has a planned investment of 5 billion yuan. The project covers a total area of 3,088 acres, divided into three phases of construction. It is an advanced agricultural project focusing on the development of tomato planting technology and modern facility agriculture, with supporting industries such as agricultural product processing, preparation and maintenance of agricultural facilities and equipment, logistics, research and development, demonstration, and the integration of upstream and downstream industrial chains. It also combines big data tracking and analysis, supplemented by agricultural exhibitions, cultural tourism, and healthcare, aiming to create a systematic, internally sustainable, and integrated modern agricultural industrial park.

Kingpeng's Project in Huhehaote
The total investment for the construction of a movable thermal insulation membrane structure solar greenhouse project in Zhangfang Village, Hohhot, is 19.64 million yuan, with a construction area of nearly 70,000 square meters. A total of 43 solar greenhouses will be built, mainly for planting tomatoes and other fruits and vegetables. The flexible insulation wall solar greenhouse used in the project is an assembled solar greenhouse, which relies primarily on natural sunlight for temperature control and nighttime insulation equipment to maintain indoor temperatures. It has the advantages of quick farmland restoration, minimal civil construction, reduced construction waste, short construction periods, low investment costs, and convenient disassembly and assembly. Its safe assembly structures, factory production, integrated installation, improved insulation performance, and large greenhouse space make it highly efficient.
