Horticoop sells Horticoop Scandinavia

Investment cooperative Horticoop has sold its stake in Horticoop Scandinavia. Henrik Jørgensen, the current CEO of Horticoop Scandinavia, who already owns part of the shares, will be taking over the shares. With the sale of Horticoop Scandinavia, Horticoop says it can better focus "on innovations that contribute to a sustainable future for the horticulture sector."

"As an investment cooperative, Horticoop invests in companies that develop innovative solutions for problems in the horticulture sector. As part of this strategy, we add new companies to our portfolio and say goodbye to companies whose core activities no longer align."

Earlier this year, the sale of substrate producer Lensli was reported on as well. Meanwhile, Horticoop is also investing in new companies, such as Vivent, VitalFluid, and Skytree.
