Four more IPM novelties to get you through the final hours

Here's your friends from HortiDaily reminding you not to break down your IPM stand early, even though the final hours of the trade show in Essen are usually pretty slow. The organization is well known for fining those who pack their bags before the show has ended. Don't worry - we've got you covered. Here are some novelties from the show to keep you going in these final hours.

So, the last day of the IPM Essen is on - let's have a look back at this morning. Guten Morgen, guten Morgen, guten Morgen, Sonnenschein. While dancing, the WPS team started day four on a positive note with the sounds of the well-known song by Nana Mouskiri.

A special edition as the trade show celebrated its 40th anniversary. After a slow start, the vibes on the showfloor have been good, and the floricultural exhibitors seem to have been pleased with the visits so far. As the number of exhibitors is clearly down, a record breaking edition is not to be expected - but we'll wait for the final numbers on visitors as the show remains open untill 5 PM today - and please be remembered to NOT pack down your booth early, as the organisation is notorious for fining those who do.

Prior to our complete photo report, which will be published on Monday, we would liket to share some novelties from the trade show with you. Get ready!

ErfGoed has developed a special hardwear plate to create a Trolly Path Way on the greenhouse floor. The plates are approximately 3.5 mm thick and are placed against each other in in the middle of the hood. This will create a track of 140 cm. wide. This size was consciously chosen. This way, “Danish carts” can pass each other. "The hardwheel plates are located under the ground cloth. So in the perfect place to optimize internal transport, in the hood. There are eclipse-shaped holes in the plate so that the water supply and drainage continues to function optimally. The unique logistics solution ensures that the entire cultivation space is used", shares Cock van Bommel.

LUBING GreenTec showed their newly released pump station with two pumps. The company also ran their Fogging-System at the booth. "Our pump stations with LUBING Touch Controllers optimize and control the humidity in greenhouses according to the actual demand. Dividing large greenhouses into demand-controlled zones and providing real-time data contributes to optimized operation, improves the growing climate and customer comfort."

Ellepot is expanding the range of products being grown in their Ellepots: more herbs, lettuce and different flower crops. All this to reduce the use of peat, plastic and to enable further automation.

Andrea Carretti and Marco Montepietra with Atlantic MAN, showing the TTL 1200, which is newly updated so it can work with the soft, thermoplastic trays, and remains easy to adjust and maintain.
