Fresh vegetables from greenhouses in northern Belarus

Winter in the northern regions of Belarus is harsh, but thanks to the greenhouse complex "Rudakovo," residents of these lands can enjoy fresh vegetables even in the coldest period. Raisa Krupatina, the head of the complex, shared with us that they start preparing for the harvest from the first days of winter.

One of the top-selling varieties is the "Meva" cucumber. This medium-sized cucumber stands out for its sweet taste and crisp texture. "We have already harvested 25 tons of cucumbers, primarily sold in Vitebsk and local stores," emphasized Krupatina.

Salad crops are also in high demand. Leaf lettuce, dill, parsley, and arugula delight health-conscious consumers. Tomato harvesting is expected in April.

The produce from "Rudakovo" is delicious and environmentally friendly. Vegetables make their way to the shelves of stores in Vitebsk and the surrounding areas, with major retailers distributing them nationwide.
