Since mid-2023, cucumber grower Jan Reijm has been implementing crop protection through the use of UV-C light with a fully automatic robot that moves through the rows of cucumber plants. "As a result, we no longer need to use any crop protection products against fungi," the grower shares on LinkedIn in a video. "We learn every day, onto a residue-free cucumber cultivation!"
