Jean Pageaud and Dylan Auffray, ARC:

New bundling machine unveiled at Fruit Attraction

The know-how of ARC includes “bundling, tying, attaching, binding and banding.” The Normandy-based company launched its new SE1 NEO bundling machine at Fruit Attraction.

“This machine is an adhesive tape bundling machine. It has been designed to meet customer demands for operator safety. It is equipped with dual inductive sensors and has a large opening for products such as cauliflower and butternut.” Another feature is the “printing option,” which enables a batch number or date, for example, to be inscribed on the belt. “The machine also meets the requirements of the AGEC law since banding can be carried out using 100% paper adhesive tape that complies with food standards. For certain products (such as organic produce), banding replaces labeling by being tamper proof and offering a large communication surface (barcode, logo, producer/packer details...).”

On the market since October 4 at Fruit Attraction, the feedback has been immediate, and the machine is a great success!”
