State grants help Ukrainian farmers with berry growing

The company, within the 'Fructona' group, has received a grant to construct modular greenhouses in the Odesa region of Ukraine.

The project was conceived before the war, but it received a strong start with state funding. According to the program's conditions, the state finances the project up to 70%, while the remaining 30% is covered by the company's funds.

The greenhouse complex will cover a total area of 10 hectares, with the initial phase focused on 2.38 hectares. The farm will specialize in growing garden strawberries and raspberries using innovative global technologies. The tunnels will allow for earlier production and prolonged harvests, providing fresh, high-quality berries with an extended shelf life.

By meeting market demands and utilizing modern techniques, the company aims to ensure the long-term success of its berry production.
