Commitment sale of Horst geothermal heat source this summer

A new bankruptcy report from CLG Geothermie shows that a final asset deal is underway. It is expected to come around this summer. A new buyer has come forward after an earlier buyer dropped out earlier. "We are further along than ever," trustee Jos Bloo noted in an explanation at the time.

Since last autumn, much work has been done in consultation with (the buyer's advisers) to reach the deal, the trustee writes. Physically, present norm-contaminated waste has been certified removed. Furthermore, 'much consultation' is taking place with supervisory authorities such as SSM and EZK. Also under discussion is complying 'at the buyer's expense' with the 'various legal obligations, submitting various documents, requests, and notifications to bodies such as SodM and EZK.'

The geothermal exploration license of the bankrupt geothermal company CLG in Horst was transferred to Nappa bv this spring. This was shown at the time in a summary with an amendment on the Dutch Oil and Gas Portal (NLOG).

The bankruptcy number, in this case, is: F.03/20/233
