China is the largest tea-growing country in the world, and in Shangdong, growing tea is a tradition. However, export is low due to residues of chemical crop protection. Outdoor growing methods can affect the taste and flavor of the tea. With this in mind, the beautiful newly built tea greenhouse in the Shangdong area, China, becomes even more beautiful. Young tea plants will be propagated and hardened here before being transplanted in the field.
The project, which nears completion this month, consists of 2 greenhouses in total: a 1,5 ha nursery for the propagation of the plants and one for hardening of the seedlings prior to tea transplant.
"This greenhouse is designed to optimize the growing conditions for tea plants, ensuring that they receive the right amount of light, heat, and water to thrive," the team with Kingpeng shows. "The greenhouse is equipped with advanced temperature and humidity control systems, as well as automated irrigation and fertilization systems, to provide the perfect growing environment for the tea seedlings to supplement natural sunlight, allowing the plants to grow faster and stronger."
In addition to its functionality, the greenhouse is also a stunning architectural masterpiece. Its sleek, modern design seamlessly integrates with the surrounding landscape, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for growing tea.
"Overall, the 1.5-hectare glass greenhouse in Shandong is a testament to the power of modern technology and innovative design", says Kingpeng. "The ability to create the ideal growing conditions for tea seedlings is unmatched, and its beauty and elegance make it a true marvel of engineering, whether you are a tea lover or simply appreciate the beauty of nature."
