II class Andalusian aubergines return to the market

"Last Wednesday, March 29, the market stopped marketing second-category long/black aubergines after the Extension of the Standard for this product was activated. Hortyfruta's Board of Directors has decided to deactivate the Standard Extension after verifying during its monitoring of the situation of long/black aubergine that the market share in the month of April decreases and it's no longer representative."

"Thus, marketers have been able to market the second categories of long/black aubergines again since the start of April 1," Hortyfruta stated.

The inter-branch organization also announced that it would continue to monitor in detail greenhouse products this week, especially cucumbers and zucchini, and soon melons and watermelons.
