Protecting tomato plants in Mexico against PepMV

Thanks to a recent approval, tomato plants in Mexico can now also be protected against the Pepino mosaic virus with V10. "To inform tomato growers about the effect of our organic products, we crossed the Atlantic last week. Of course, we also visited Koppert Mexico, who will take care of the distribution of V10 for us in this country. With the approval of V10 in Mexico, we are further expanding our export of natural crop protection products," says Thorben Looije with Valto, producer of the product.

"Of course, we are very happy with this admission. A registration process often takes several years and is always tailor-made because every country in the world has its own rules and requirements. In Mexico, for example, we started applying for V10 approval five years ago. After supplying the research data and answering all questions, we now have permission for V10 so that we can help growers in this Central American country to protect their tomato plants against the Pepino Mosaic Virus (PepMV)," he concludes.
