Why a high-pressure fogging system?

High pressure fogging is a system with a high-pressure pump that pumps water into the greenhouse and releases fluid water as superfine-sized water drops in the air. Normally there are two types of fogging systems – high pressure (system working pressure more than 70 bar) and low pressure.

The main functions of the high-pressure fogging system are to increase humidity and reduce temperature, making the environment in the greenhouse more suitable for crops. The high-pressure fogging system can cool the greenhouse well with the roof window system during the day. A high-pressure fogging system is very useful for growing roses and nurseries under dry climate conditions.

Most components of high-pressure fogging systems, especially nozzles, are usually made of stainless steel or higher standard materials. The material requirement of a low-pressure fogging system is relatively lower, the nozzles and pipes can be made of plastic or other materials. The working pressure of the low-pressure fogging is generally 30-40bar. A low-pressure fogging system can also be used in a greenhouse, but because it makes larger water droplets, low-pressure fogging cannot be used on crops that need to flower and bear fruit.
