Russian farmers have harvested 440 tons of strawberries

Since the beginning of 2022, the strawberry harvest in Krasnodar territory, which is located in the south of Russia, has amounted to 440 tons. According to the press service of the regional administration, berries are mainly grown on private farms.

97% of the crop grown in the region came from household plots. Belorechensky (310 tons), Dinskoy (49 tons), and Vyselkovsky (37 tons) districts are leading among the municipalities in the region.

To support berry producers in constructing greenhouses, the authorities will allocate 130 million rubles in 2022.
