The premium strawberry variety, highly commended at the 2021 Quality Food Awards, is now back in season exclusively available through BerryWorld in the UK.
BerryWorld are excited to see premium Eves Delight strawberries coming into season in the UK according to Paul Cole, Managing director at BerryWorld, UK. The delicious strawberry variety, bred by family-owned Edward Vinson Ltd, was ‘highly commended’ by the expert jury of the 2021 Quality Food Awards following a Superior Taste Award from the International Taste Institute.
Eves Delight strawberries are exclusively grown by BerryWorld growers in the UK from May to October. Since the variety was selected in 2014 for its truly delightful taste, volumes have been growing steadily to meet increasing retailer and consumer demand.
In the UK, premium strawberry sales grew +25% YOY last summer (Kantar 24 WE 3rd Oct) This growth is continued to be seen +73% YOY (Kantar 12 WE 17th April).
