Tyler Sarner has joined Priva North America as the newest member of their sales team in Camarillo, California. "With our continued growth in the Americas, Tyler is responsible for commercial activities together with our west coast sales and service team to support our partners and customers in Western USA and Canada," the Priva team says.
Tyler graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Agricultural Systems Management. “Originally, my background was in traditional agriculture, but I was interested in CEA because it helps address the challenges of growing outdoors,” explains Tyler. His experience working as a grower for an experimental hydroponic farm gives him a distinct advantage in understanding the needs and challenges of growers in CEA.
“The 2050 food gap has most people focus on agriculture, and I have made specific career choices by only supporting companies that have the same vision about it as I do. I am glad to be part of Priva, where I feel confident that the technology we develop will improve our food system and help farmers overcome the future resource problems they will face”.
