Chinese supermarket sells Lijiang roses at wholesale price, pays back if a branch is broken

On March 3, Tmall Supermarket held the launch ceremony of the online flower section and the launch ceremony of Lijiang Rose in Lijiang. Roses such as "Floyd" and "Shangguan Wan'er", known as "Hermes in the Flowers", were sold at "wholesale prices" in Tmall Supermarket.

Through the Taobao APP or Tmall APP, consumers can click into Tmall Supermarket and search for "flowers in Lijiang" to order. These "flowers of Lijiang" are new products that have been introduced and cultivated in China. The flowers have large size and good type with a long flowering period. Their quality is not inferior to that of imported flowers.

Lijiang is one of the best rose-growing areas in China, with an average altitude of 2,500 meters, 2,400 - 2.600 hours of sunshine throughout the year, a small annual temperature difference, and a large temperature difference between day and night. Its main flower variety "Floyd" is the "chosen" rose of the LancĂ´me, while "Shangguan Wan'er" is the best variety in terms of vase life. "Shangguan Wan'er" has wavy petals and its cream pink heart could extend successively during the flowering period.

This rose planting area at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain has officially become the exclusive supply base for Tmall Supermarket. Tmall Supermarket will establish a cold chain warehouse for flowers here, deliver directly from the origin, provide cold chain preservation, and send flowers to the door.

Based on the mode of direct delivery from the origin, the retail price of Lijiang rose is close to the wholesale price, which is equivalent to 50% off the retail price of flowers with the same grade in the market. In the meantime, for some rare rose varieties, Tmall Supermarket agrees to pay back if the branches are broken when delivered.
