Photo report: Indoor Ag-Con 2022

This week the Indoor Ag-Con took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. We already updated you briefly on the trends in the industry - now it's picture time!

The event combines a two-day conference with a trade show. Prior to this, a get-together was organized. Sponsored by Signify, participants were invited to join for an evening of Golf and Networking.

The Indoor Ag-Con itself kicked off on Monday with a keynote by Steven Platt with Brightfarms. Other keynotes were given by Jonathan Webb, AppHarvest, and Matthew Ryan, Soli Organics. The conference program was completed by many discussion panels on topics like IPM, funding and finance, substrates, rapid growth, and HR.

At the tradeshow part of the event, dozens of exhibitors showcased their products. Overall, there was a lot of attention for water and irrigation solutions, turnkey growing systems, and substrates. Remarkable, compared to a couple of years ago, was the lack of LED suppliers. It seems as if together with the massive cannabis boom, the LED dealers too disappeared from the show floor.

Overall, you could see that the industry was happy to meet in person again and to continue doing business. What a better time to get together, after all; the industry is thriving and the amount of money being invested into CEA is higher than ever.

Later more news from the show, but first... PICTURE TIME!
