The Flavor of the Year quality seal is a prestigious seal that is awarded each year to a series of products that has a higher quality and flavor than the rest of their competitors in the market. This selection is carried out through blind tastings, where 80 consumers try different products from the same segment, under the same conditions and without being able to identify them. The tests are carried out under neutral conditions in which consumers are not influenced and can really choose the product they consider has the best quality and flavor.
For the first time, consumers have awarded Cassarosa® the prestigious Flavor of the Year seal, after its appearance and taste outperformed that of the competition. "This tomato is characterized by its ribbed shape and its pearly pink color. It stands out for its sweet flavor that is perfectly balanced with its good acidity, and its aroma that manages to evoke the most traditional tomato."
