Last month, Indoor Ag-Con announced that BrightFarms CEO Steve Platt and Cox Cleantech, Cox Enterprises VP Steven Bradley are kicking off Indoor Ag-Con with the opening morning keynote on Monday, February 28. And now, they announce that Jonathan Webb, Founder & CEO, AppHarvest is joining to lead the mid-morning session that Monday at 11 a.m.
Webb will lead a session on what needs to be done to truly fix the world’s food system: The Farm of the Future, which he is creating at AppHarvest, by investing in robotics, artificial intelligence, and tele-operation, while developing the types of technologies that were required for Amazon to transform retail.
