an & Jerry’s Greenhouses has named Mike Vallafskey as its new Chief Executive Officer. Mike joined Dan & Jerry’s Greenhouses in November 2021. Dan Totushek and Jerry Quaal will continue to be actively involved through the transition period and then continue to serve on the board of directors.
Prior to joining Dan & Jerry’s, Vallafskey spent 18 years at T.O. Plastics, serving as President for the last 12 years. Most recently, he served as Vice President - Sales with AgriNomix. “We are very excited to bring Mike on board as CEO of Dan & Jerry’s Greenhouse,” said Dan. “His vast leadership and industry experience will enhance our exceptional management team and support our ultimate goal of serving our valued customers.” Mike earned his BA degree from Hamline University and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Dan & Jerry’s has also acquired Pineview Greenhouse in Kalamazoo, MI. "The addition of this facility will allow us to better serve our current customer base to the east as well as provide opportunities for growth. Dan and Jerry’s Pineview facility will maintain much of the current staff and will be managed by Dan Tschirhart, who has been with Dan & Jerry’s since 2020."
