Costco shoppers enthusiastic about US-grown strawberries

As more technology has been implemented to aid in the development of greenhouses, with new systems promoting better lighting and water operation, now, more places around the US have been able to grow produce out of season. Stores like Costco have been taking full advantage of this, and its customers have noticed. Recently, Costco shoppers raved about the store's strawberries, and it turns out they are grown locally in the US, even in the winter.

Costco’s produce section has members voicing their excitement on forums such as Reddit. When one user posed the question about whether anyone else enjoys the chain's strawberries as much as they do, they were met with plenty of agreement.
