The University of Alberta and Exceed Solar officially launched the first high-tech, solar-powered greenhouse at the university in Edmonton. The Solar Greenhouse was funded through the University of Alberta’s Energy Management and Sustainable Operations department and will be used for research in aquaponics, renewable energy design and application, and sustainable food production.
