Bever Innovation introduces an improved 7-layer leaf carrier

"Technical optimizations offer even wider deployment and greater usability"

Bever Innovations introduces its updated 7-layer Leaf Carrier. "This grow cart incorporates a number of new and very interesting technical features, which make the cart even more user-friendly and more widely applicable," the team says.

The water-resistance of the bottom side has been increased to IP65, which makes the Leaf Carrier ideal for use in humid environments. For example for growing seedlings and cuttings, which in addition to a sophisticated temperature and lighting also require high humidity.

Simple and user-friendly control
An important upgrade also concerns the Bever Innovations Smart Technology, which provides for easy control of the Leaf Carrier. “With a completely redesigned interface, not only has the look and feel of our App been improved but also the user-friendliness has been greatly enhanced,” says Stephan den Boer, Sales Representative at Bever Innovations.

“With the new Smart Technology interface, we are moving towards a fully customer-specific and easily customizable environment. For example, a day and night cycle has been added, eliminating the need for a separate time clock. Instead, growers can very easily and completely customize the day and night rhythms of their grow products and positively influence the growth course. In addition, a simple division into groups of Leaf Carriers is possible, where growers can also give each group its own, appropriate name. This greatly simplifies the use of the Leaf Carrier. Because our App is now supported by both Android and iOS, iPhone users can also enjoy all the unique benefits.”

More loading capacity, higher light output
The loading capacity of the growing layers has been increased to 40 kilograms in the renewed Leaf Carrier. Also, all layers have been coated in white, which provides an even better reflection of the LED lights. “In addition, the white color contributes to the hygienic appearance of the growing area,” Den Boer said. “Where the LED lighting was initially controlled via one central driver under the Leaf Carrier, in the renewed 7-layer grow cart a choice was made for a separate driver per layer.

This not only results in higher light output but also in additional benefits. For example, maintenance and service are facilitated because the layers can be removed and/or replaced more easily.” To ensure that growers can check the operation of their Leaf Carriers at a glance even during night mode, a status indicator has also been added to all seven layers.

Following on from the 7-layer Leaf Carrier, Bever Innovations’ other grow carts will also be equipped with the very latest features in the coming months.
