On September 3, Cao Chunxin, a scientist from Jinhua City, instructed staff on how to conduct soilless cultivation of seedlings in the fully automatic glass greenhouse of the Modern Agricultural Ecological Park in Huayuan Village, in South East China.
In order to promote the development of agriculture, Dongyang Huayuan Village Modern Agricultural Ecological Park introduced four new tomato varieties from the Jinhua Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The academy, in their turn, sent a dedicated scientist to guide the staff of the greenhouses. The scientist will also do the selection and introduction of these varieties so that the most suitable varieties will be planted and promoted in the Huayuan Village for a larger scale cultivation.
