Andermatt Biocontrol becomes majority shareholder (60% stake) in its Greek distribution partner Anthesis Crop Protection and Nutrition P.C.
Anthesis, located in Athens, Greece was founded in 2000 by its Managing Director and former majority shareholder George Komianos. Over the past decade, Anthesis has developed to be the leading supplier of biological plant protection products, biocides, plant stimulants and nutrition specialties in Greece. “There is a great cultural and entrepreneurial fit between Anthesis and Andermatt Biocontrol. We are proud to be a part of the Andermatt Biocontrol network and will ensure that we continue our solution-oriented approach in Greece”, says George Komianos, Managing Director and minority shareholder of the company Anthesis.
