Certis Europe expands with biostimulants

Certis Europe branch in Spain has reached a distribution agreement with the French multinational Agrauxine for the commercialization of its biostimulants in Spain. Agrauxine is the business unit of the Lesafre Group dedicated to developing products for the biocontrol, biostimulation and bionutrition of crops. They have more than 15 years of experience in biosolutions and have an international presence with headquarters in Angers (France). From now on, Certis Spain will have a catalog of Biostimulants that is unique in the national market: Pushy +, Biosmart and Moka.

Pushy + is a biostimulant based on autolyzed yeast that favors the vegetative development of plants to face the critical phases of the crop cycle, promoting growth and photosynthetic activity, boosting the development of leaf and root biomass as well as stimulating plant metabolism, division, and cell expansion. Applied via irrigation from transplanting, it is capable of providing the benefits shown in a multitude of horticultural, fruit, citrus, tropical, and berry crops.

Biosmart consists of a wide range of organic compounds, amino acids, and metabolites from yeast fermentation that stimulate plant metabolism, optimize flowering and fruit set and help to overcome abiotic stress in a multitude of crops.

Moka is an end-of-cycle biostimulant to improve the quality of the fruit and the commercial yield, as its application leads to cell division and expansion, as well as improving the yield and quality parameters of the fruit.

David Rubio, Portfolio Manager, commented, “Agrauxine has been developing the biostimulant business for years in other parts of the world such as South America with first-class distributors for its products. We, in Certis Europe BV Suc. Spain, are sure that the agreement reached for Spain and Portugal will be a success for both companies.”
