5 hectare tomato greenhouse launched in Turkmenistan

Halan Dogan enterprise have launched a new greenhouse in Maryjsky vayalat in Turkmenistan. The complex was constructed by Dört paslyň berekedi enterprise. The company are planning to grow a tomato variety from Turkey and collect 1200 tons of crops from an acreage of 5 ha.

The head of the Halal Dogan company, Mr. Serdar Berdyjev, in his interview to the newspaper Turkmenistan noted that the launch of the greenhouse allowed for the creation of 40 working places.

“Currently we are planning on delivering the produce to the domestic market and in future we want to enter the markets of neighboring countries”, underlined Mr. Berdyjev.

The company are planning on further construction of another greenhouse of 5 ha, where they would grow cucurbits. The construction of the second greenhouse is planned to be completed by 2021.
