Successful trade mission Vietnam

Need for innovation
Techniques which are used during sowing, growing and harvesting are in full development, such as the need for different types of greenhouses in the province of Lam Dong. Vietnamese farmers indicate they are mostly using foil greenhouses, as they require less investment than plastic greenhouses, which are only used in the higher located areas in Lam Dong due to the difference in temperature.

Post harvest
There was also much attention for the challenges in the post-harvest process. Dutch companies can play a role in solving these challenges. In Vietnam, a lot of the value of products is lost because of the poor post-harvest conditions. There is a lot to be gained in properly packaging the harvest without damaging the product.
