Aaron Bickell joins Ecoation as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Ecoation has appointed Aaron Bickell as its new Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Aaron joins the Ecoation executive team following his role as a business advisor to the company over the past 3 years. Aaron brings more than 24 years of experience in Agriculture, Leadership, and Commercial Finance to the company.

Most recently he has been in a leadership position with Viscon Group NA Ltd of which he is currently the managing director and co-owner. Aaron will split his time between the 2 companies.

Aaron will manage the advancement of Ecoation’s sales and marketing strategy and focus on expanding Ecoation’s novel platform and offering globally.

“Aaron has been an amazing advisor and supporter of the company since its’ inception and has tremendously helped with company’s growth both here in Canada and internationally.” Said Dr. Saber Miresmailli, Ecoation’s founder and CEO. “Beyond his unique combination of agricultural finance and industry experience, Aaron brings a tremendous leadership and people management skill set that will be a big asset for our team. Aaron is joining our team at a pivotal stage of growth as we expand our presence globally. We are thrilled to welcome him to our leadership team."

According to Aaron, “Saber and his co-founder Maryam, are extremely humble, hard-working, and their technology is changing the way farmers can manage their crops and challenges. I’ve been fortunate to be involved over the years, and this new role formalizes the synergies between the two companies I serve, that essentially serve the same market. I’m pleased to be able to add to these technologies to the value proposition that Viscon Group offers its’ customers to take them even further forward with Ecoation’s advanced platform”.

Aaron has an honours degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph, and also a diploma in Leadership as a graduate of the Advanced Ag Leadership Program class 9. Prior to 2014 Aaron held various leadership positions at Farm Credit Canada, and since then has been director of sales for the North American division of Viscon Group.
