In an attempt to raise awareness about the huge horticultural sector, about 350 students from multiple different schools in the Windsor area visited four different major greenhouse companies in the area.
The below video by CTV News shows the students getting a glimpse behind the scenes in the high tech growing environments and packaging facilities of the various growers.
The industry is still growing fast in the area, and the growers were happy to introduce the horticultural sector to many fresh faces, some of whom might find their next job in the industry.
