The GLASE Webinar Series features the latest technological innovations and best practices in the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) industry providing the participants an opportunity to discover new solutions and to connect with industry experts. The upcoming webinar, held September 26, will be about humidity control in the greenhouse and other indoor plant environments.
Nadia Sabeh will be speaking at the webinar. Nadia is the President and Founder of Dr. Greenhouse, Inc., a Mechanical and Agricultural Engineering Consulting firm that specializes in the HVAC and climate management design for indoor plant environments, including vertical farms, container farms, and, of course, greenhouses. As a Mechanical and Agricultural Engineer, Nadia has a deep understanding of plant environment relationships, including the effects of light, temperature, humidity, and nutrient levels on plant responses. These parameters, along with the operational needs and procedures of the farm, influence and inform our recommendations for the selection, design, and control of the HVAC system. Nadia's specialities include:
- Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA): HVAC design and energy/water efficiency for greenhouses and vertical farms (vegetables, mushrooms, etc).
- HVAC design: Small animal facilities, Multi-family housing, Mechanical Retrofits
- Building energy modeling
