During an end of the season meeting of the Almeria-based horticultural trader Indasol, it was announced that the company has achieved record figures in the latest season (2018-2019), with a harvest totaling 117 million kilos.
According to the data published in the financial information database of the consulting firm Informa D&B S.A.U. (S.M.E.), Indasol had a turnover of 103.7 million Euro at the end of the 2017 campaign, and has registered assets worth 33.6 million Euro in the same year.
Despite the general fall in the prices of some of the company's specialties, the firm has had a fruitful and satisfactory season, both in terms of volume and turnover. Indasol has more than five hundred members and an area of 900 hectares intended for the cultivation of bell peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini and (water) melon. Its annual turnover exceeds €100 million.
Since its inception in 1993, Indasol has evolved and adapted to market changes and demands. The company is adapting its strategies to provide efficiency in all its services. Currently, Germany, the UK, France, Eastern European countries, Russia, the US and Canada are its most important markets.
