most successful event ever

Photo report: Protected Cropping Australia Conference

On forehand Nicky Mann, Chair of Protected Cropping Australia, promissed their biannual conference would be the best one yet and one week after the show it can be concluded she was right. Last week the PCA Conference 2019 wrapped up after three successful days on Queensland's Gold Coast.

A total of 575 delegates had registered for the 3-day event, which concluded with several farm tours across the region.

The event also sold 83 booths at the trade exhibition, with more than 65 companies showcasing products and services, from as far away as Europe, Asia, U.S.A and New Zealand.

For the first time at the event, it featured a number of talks and information session on Medical Cannabis, which is a growing crop in Australia. It not only discussed growing techniques but the history, and government regulations.

The theme of the event was "Seduction by Technology", with a number of companies showcasing their products, and experts analysing potential future advancements for the industry.
