Innovation Awards for Grodan, Koppert Biological Systems and Ridder

GreenTech 2019 gets underway

And it's off! This morning in Amsterdam, GreenTech started. Technical novelties, new projects and meeting up with acquaintances - for the high-tech horticultural world Amsterdam is the place to be this week.

It's the first time that the GreenTech exhibition is taking place within 12 months after the final edition, as the show organizers upscheduled from a biannual to an annual show last year. Whereas not everybody responded to this positively initially, there's a good atmosphere during the first day of the show.

Since yesterday was a holiday in the Netherlands, today is not likely to be the best day of the show, but still, exhibitors aren't complaining - especially since the visitors entering the RAI are from all over the world. New and evolving markets - but all with one thing in common: high-tech horticulture. Whether it's US, Iran, Armenia, Japan or China, growers and consultants are making their way to the Netherlands this week.

The trade show kicked off with announcing the winners of the show.

The show was opened with the push of a button

Innovation Awards
Three companies will start the show with an extra boost, having won a GreenTech Innovation Award. Grodan won the Concept Award with its new digital platform e-Gro. Koppert Biological Systems scooped up the Innovation Award with its scout app Natutec Scout, and Ridder takes home the Sustainability Award, for its sodium removal solution NoNa+.
