“Today we are opening the first phase of the greenhouse complex Sunzha, one of the most important investment projects in the agricultural sector of the republic. It is a pleasure to see that such full-scale projects as this greenhouse, equipped with all modern technologies, are being fulfilled in Ingushetia. Over 700 new working places will be created here and even more associates will be attracted for seasonal work”, added Mr. Evkurov.

“The complex currently provides employment for more than 100 people, for the region the enterprise brings new working positions and new abilities. For the time being this is the biggest tomato-growing complex, we have made another step to become self-sufficient in greenhouse produce and solve the matter of food security. The tomatoes I have tasted in Ingushetia are the tastiest in the world”, noted the Minister of North Caucasus Affairs, Mr. Sergey Chebotaryov.

The agreement for the construction of the production greenhouse complex LLC Agricomplex Sundzha with an acreage of 20 ha was concluded within the investment forum Sochi-2019. The overall investments reached 66.8 million euros. The first crops, amounting to 200 tons of tomatoes, were harvested in May from an acreage of 10 ha.

The head of the republic instructed the management of the complex to set the prices for the produce lower than the market ones.

He also noted that it is planned to launch the second phase of the complex with an acreage of 20 ha in 2020 and the fourth phase with an acreage of 40 ha should be completed by the end of 2021.
