A new way to control thrips in strawberry

Strawberry growers will do all they can to provide the consumer with the best quality fruits this summer. What will not help is thrips in their greenhouse. Bioline AgroScience recently introduced a new way of controlling thrips in strawberries: Bugline.

It is a ribbon with many breeding sachets releasing the predatory mite Amblyseius cucumeris. The Bugline will steadily release mites over several weeks and this way it gives a long lasting protection against thrips. By making the application faster and easier, Bugline simplifies the job and reducing labour costs.
