“Through research and trials, we came to find more efficient ways for the plants to assimilate the nutrients they need.” A group of bioengineers that have worked in the field for many years decided to put their knowledge and experience together. This resulted in a company called Sylenco. Founded in 2017, in Hamburg, Germany, the company nowadays has quite an assortment of products to offer and they are developing new ones as we speak. “Our products can be used for every type of plant in any type of medium. They offer nutrition and support to the plant and lead to a better yield, and for flowers too”, says Diana Iacobescu, sales and operations manager at Sylenco.

“We aim to give a complete solution for the nutrition of the plant, both by drip irrigation and foliar (SylenSolubles) or specialised for foliar application (Syleaf). The biostimulants, (SylenEnergy), can be applied both ways, but besides nutrition they offer a boost for the plant in different contexts. Maybe the plant needs more protection against diseases, more support to resist and prosper in difficult abiotic conditions, or they have difficulty assimilating a nutrient. Every product from this range has a specific role.”
