Spain: Unica Group launches online store to sell its 'Healthy Box'

Unica Group, a company based in Almeria, Spain, has opened an online store: Through this website, customers can purchase the so-called 'Healthy Box'. This box contains 5 kilograms of all kinds of fruit and vegetables supplied by the various cooperatives that are part of Unica Group.

The box contains a selection of each week's best quality products, including different types of tomato (large, snack, on the vine, loose, or Kumato), large and snack cucumbers, sweet and snack peppers, elongated and round zucchini, broccoli, iceberg lettuce or mini romaine lettuce, Galia or Cantaloupe melon, green asparagus, carrots, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, leek, green beans, clementines, oranges, lemons, Paraguayo peaches and pomegranates.

The company is committed to promoting a more sustainable way of growing and selling, thus, with the 'Healthy Box', the use of plastic has been drastically reduced, by up to 80%. Plastic has only been used for products whose quality would be clearly affected otherwise.

Thanks to this online store, Unica's healthy products are available to any consumer anywhere on the Spanish peninsula.

Being able to order fresh products from home or from the workplace, and have them delivered, could help motivate consumers in their quest to adopting healthier lifestyles; an important goal of Unica.

Through the website (, customers can order boxes with an already prearranged product selection, or register to receive multiple boxes per month. The boxes cost 12 Euro each, but during the launch phase, Unica Group is carrying out a promotion, allowing its followers on social media to make their first order with a 50% discount.
