DRCE1275, De Ruiter Seeds

New name for summer cucumber: Gotja

After having tested the variety DRCE 1275 extensively at various locations, De Ruiter is now selling the variety in the Netherlands and Belgium for summer cultivation under the name Gotja.

This moment was celebrated with Robert van Rijckevorsel in Breda, who tested the highly productive variety with resistance to the (intermediary) cucumber green mottle mosaic virus on a large scale, looking back on this with much satisfaction.

Robert: "In my view, Gotja is the strongest summer variety resistant against viruses available on the market at the moment. Gotja is a real summer variety, not selective, and benefits from sunny weather. The quality of the cucumbers is excellent and they have a nice green color. Moreover, it is single-fruit bearing, which is good for labor."

De Ruiter Seeds is present at HortiContact at stand J-143.
